The Space
- Guests have access to the entire second floor 1br/1ba unit, the shared backyard/patio, and the shared parking area in the rear of the home.
- Please note that the laundry area is in the basement of the main home and guests only have scheduled access to it two days a week.
- The spacious professionally-decorated second-floor 1br/1ba Cookhouse Charm unit accommodates two and is available for stays of 30+ days. The unit has a queen reproduction historic rice bed, two large non-working fireplaces (the original kitchen and laundry rooms to the main house), accent antiques, a spacious bathroom with marble-tiled shower, and a fully-equipped kitchen/sitting room with eating area and full-sized sofa bed. The Cookhouse boasts a professionally-designed patio and garden and has off-street parking for 1-2 cars.
- The unit is provided with a starter pack of essentials for your extended stay including toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, bath products, etc. If these items are depleted during your trip, it will be the guests’ responsibility to purchase additional supplies for themselves.
- Your safety and comfort are our priority. In the unlikely event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR CHARLESTON COUNTY during your stay, rest assured that both the Owner/Host and the Property Management Company WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR PAYMENTS for the dates of evacuation. Once refunded, neither party will have further liability regarding your Reservation.
- Please note that ONLY MANDATORY EVACUATIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR REFUNDS. No other travel disruptions due to weather, whether in South Carolina or other states, are eligible.
